The Tilford Family
The Tilfords 2023
Welcome!
I am Nicole and I am the wife to the most incredible man; Eric. We live in East Tennessee with our five children; Tristan, Lily, Nico, Harlan and Nolan. Together, we are The Tilfords! Grandpa Steve lives with us too!
Growing weary of social media, we decided to give our our blog another try. So, we fired this bad-boy up once again in hopes of staying in better contact with our family and friends who are scattered all over the United States and Australia.
In our blog, you will hear about our children, our animals, details about our life and anything that goes on in our beautifully messy world. We hope you enjoy hearing about our life and come back for more…. Thanks for stopping by!

This is what happens to packages left inside our gate:
Courtesy of Callie "Heathen" Tilford:
One package did not fit so they put it inside the gate (even though we've asked them not to)... Here is how it looks now:
Unfortunately, Merida from Brave did not survive.
Here is the puppy with a hole in his foot.
I'm going between laughing hysterically to being very angry.
Looks like we're shopping AGAIN tonight, we needed these things for tomorrow.
Not sure what UPS has against following a simple request:
WE OWN A LAND SHARK, PLEASE LEAVE PACKAGES IN THE BASKET AND/OR OUTSIDE THE GATE!

Last Night
I took some photos while I was feeding the critters last night.
Our Buckskin Mare/Filly (as I still like to think of her), Diva may be moving to a new home soon so I wanted to try to capture some moments with her. She was behaving in her typical manner (like a witch) so I couldn't get the selfie I had envisioned but I was able to get a few of her anyway.
We decided to sell her for several reasons but the main one being we feel like we're wasting her potential by not training her and riding her. She was "green broke" when we got her and that's basically where she's at now too except more skittish due to not working with her for 2 years other than on a lead rope.
The goats have been breaking out of the pasture lately to graze on pretty much everything we don't want them eating (our citrus trees and rose bushes) because there is a spot in the fence big enough for them to squeeze through.
Last night as I was feeding the dogs, I looked beside the back lawn and there they were! Cuter than cute can be. Mischievous little buggers. They are so playful and into everything! As I feed the horses, they are pulling the buckets out of my hands to try and eat the stable mix (which they are not supposed to have and we really try to not allow them to have any), they knock the buckets over, they can open some lids to some of the different feed bins and they almost always find a way into the chicken feed. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the whole world, they are just so much fun.

Sunny Saturday on The Ranch
Saturday was a beautiful day at the Ranch.
Crystal, Lynan, Haley and Ashley came over to get their hair done and we enjoyed the lovely weather.
We let Hunny Bunny run around the back yard in her baby corral and she had a fantastic time. All the chickens were out and about and the horses and goats loved the sun.
I took some photos of everyone enjoying the day.

Wonderful Things Happening
Eric and I have some wonderful things happening right now that are keeping us very busy.
We are happy about everything going on and will be able to write about it very soon.
Unfortunately, being involved in everything we are involved with currently is keeping me away from the computer and the blog specifically. I promise to get back to it soon.
Stay tuned!
